Incidently, I do love my longer hair, but it gets caught in EVERYTHING. And when it is wet, it sticks to EVERYTHING.
It is going to take some getting used to, I guess.

Um, does this outfit look like the '80s threw up on me? Because I have been-there-done-that and really don't want to travel too far back down that road again... This looks like I am on pretty thin ice, in my opinion.
(and excuse the wad of Potter's hair on the carpet in the background.. apparently he had just had a good "snarf" in that spot or something..)

Oh For Gosh Sakes, I give up...

This is a cute outfit and the morning shadows on the patio of The TreeHouse just don't do it justice.. I have on my eggplant skirt from this post, my grey sparkely top from this post, and black tights, flats, and cardi... Potter's tush behind me is making me look deformed in this picture, and the shadow kind of makes it look like I don't have anything on my bottom half...the whole thing is a photography FAIL.

I have been informed that I will not get my dressing room mirror (or good access to my closet for that matter) until Friday night! ARGGGGGGG! Good thing that I have happy hour this evening - I could go for some drinks and giggling!

I am not sure why I am dressed like I raided my mother's closet today.. these capris are too baggy for work at this point, but I wore 'em anyway.. kind of dumpy.

I will get over it, tho, since I have HH at the Treehouse after work tonight with one of my favorite gals who I did not spend NEARLY enough time with over the summer.. and she doesn't care if my pants are droopy as long as they are accessorized with martinis for each of us! ;)

7.28.09 - grrrr

That's right, I have once again lost my dressing room.. The IL's (The Hub's parents) have taken up residence in our guest room due to a death in the fam, and it is looking like they will be with us through the weekend.. So here I am, crusty look and all, in my bathroom, wearing my new dress again, without a full-length mirror to admire it in. boo.
Happy Hour tonight after work tho, which is FABULOUSLY needed. Then again, my BFF is starting to feel lots of contractions, so maybe I will be hanging out at Swedish in this lovely frock..

It is dark and grainy and I look a bit perterbed because it actually rained and was kinda cold for a lot of this outdoor party.. but we had some shelter, and I did like my pink orchids in my hair...

I just have to get through a really long day at work, our Center's annual board meeting, and come 6pm I will be pool side at a friends' place for "Happy Hour at Home" with the neighborhood gang... (notice the flats - suitable for the long day still ahead)

So I was SO excited to get this dress.. I think it will be great with white and gold accessories in the summer (and I got it for $5.00 from Newport News through a speical offer - can't beat that either!) I got it yesterday and couldn't wait to wear it...
