6.6.09 - Work

Reasons behind this get-up..

1. Boss has left the building.. actually the continent, so I have no qualms about dressing down

2. The shoes I wore to the wedding on Saturday left this M.S. girl with a numb left foot

3. my injection last night, combined with being on my feet all Saturday (I think) left me with some awesome spasticity in my legs... #2 & 3 being the reason for my uber-sensible shoes.

4. It is actually pretty cool outside - and I have been freezing since I got up this morning, so my 3/4 sleeve shirt needed a sweater over it, and closed-toe shoes were a must.. BRRRR!

6.6.09 - Wedding

I played floral designer (one of my many past careers) for my lovely friend Liz during the day, doing her bouquets and centerpieces before shedding my awesome work apron for this little number and attending the beautiful event...

6.5.09 - Work, meetings, FRIDAY!

I am SO happy it is Friday!! However, it is going to be a long and busy haul up to the end of the work week for me, with big meetings and all kinds of stuff to clear up before I can answer the call of my patio and martini shaker... sigh...

6.4.09 -Work with Cocktails after (personal)

blessedly I get to go to happy hour with my fabulous friend after work this evening for a little R&R and conversation over a big adult beverage (or two.. or whatever..)

In a hurry to get out the door today, so it isn't the best shot.. oh well..

The Hub and I at a covered bridge doing a little MidWestern sightseeing.. (the bridge is called "Potter's Bridge" so it is a fave of mine, since Potter is my fuzzy doggie) I always pack lots of dresses when I travel, it is easier to me than getting someplace and realizing "dang, I forgot the shirt I was going to wear with this skirt" or whatever...


The famous summer event outfit seen at Sissy's shower (with Sissy and our fabulous mommy) will be making a wedding appearance next weekend, I believe... love it... (sorry the light is bright and I am making a funny face)

And the always needed Wondertwin pic of Sissy and me, in this case overlooking her beautimous back yard and showing off my growing nephew!! (it was our last day there, so I am in my usual traveling uniform, complete with scarf/wrap for snoozing on the plane)
