7.28.09 - grrrr

That's right, I have once again lost my dressing room.. The IL's (The Hub's parents) have taken up residence in our guest room due to a death in the fam, and it is looking like they will be with us through the weekend.. So here I am, crusty look and all, in my bathroom, wearing my new dress again, without a full-length mirror to admire it in. boo.
Happy Hour tonight after work tho, which is FABULOUSLY needed. Then again, my BFF is starting to feel lots of contractions, so maybe I will be hanging out at Swedish in this lovely frock..

7.27.09 - Work

Pardon the metal pole across my ankles.. I am putting up new curtain rods and there is no place to store 10 ft lengths of conduit that is out of the way except in front of my mirror.. :(

7.26.09 - Church, Errands

Not sure why I decided to wear my hair like a 5 year old... sigh...

7.25.09 - Tiki - themed birthday party..

It is dark and grainy and I look a bit perterbed because it actually rained and was kinda cold for a lot of this outdoor party.. but we had some shelter, and I did like my pink orchids in my hair...

7.24.09 - Work, lunch with friend (YAY!)

Hmmm, I think I need to wear heals with this dress.. I kind of look like a hotel maid or something..

Very excited today tho, because I get to see one of my favorite dear friends today for lunch!!

YAY for being able to shop again!! I love my new dress! (Of course, a splurge for me right now is a dress on Sale at Ross - but I did not "shop" this out of my own closet, or even my Sissy's or Mom's - so it is a HUGE treat!)

Boss returns very soon from his summer out of the country - I am dressed down to hide in my office and get everything taken care of so I am ready when he returns.. (and YIKES - this makes me look a bit hip-y)

7.20.09 - Dinner with friends

No work for me today, but since The Hub was OOT, my dear friends graciously invited me for dinner..

7.17.09 - Best. Week. Ever.

Again, no picture of what I was wearing, because it was my jammies on a much-needed day off, but this morning The Hub got the call we have been praying and waiting for...
HE GOT A JOB!! Woo Hoo!! Between the arrival of little Vaughn and this fabulous employment news, the one thing I will surely be wearing for a LONG time to come is a gigantic smile!!

I seem to be doing my "I have a runner in my stocking" face - but with no stockings..
Still, I like Tan and Black together.. (my sissy assures me that it is a sorority sister no-no, but oh well...)

Speaking of Sissy - she is currently in labor (blissing on her epidural, according to her text) with my Nephew!!
