2.19.2011 - Class

Today was our "Prepared Childbirth" class. 

The mirror is doing some traveling around the room as we try to get things settled in place - pardon the mess behind me. (At least it is progress, right?)

11.8.09 - Brunch

Brunch with girlfriends is possibly my favorite of all possible weekend activities... I love a lazy late-morning meal shared while sipping (ok, slugging) Mimsies and sharing stories of the week that's passed.
AND - the reason you are seeing me playing with my camera's self-timer for the first time EVAH, is because my dressing room is once again a construction zone while The Hub has new closet floors installed (you see the level of the obsession now? Scary.) So no mirror for me. And VERY limited access to my clothes. :(
TO BRUNCH, STAT!! Auntie Mame needs a Mimsie.

10-18-09 - Baptism

Our very dear friends celebrated the baptism of their beautiful baby girl Harper today, so off went the whole crew to Morning Mass - me in my conservative church girl gear, complete with double string of vintage pearls that my mommy gifted me yesterday from our outing to the Jr. League Holiday Mart:

Serious, my hair - I am loving the length I am starting to get. YAY! (Crazy, I have NEVER been excited about hair length in my life.. I wonder if it is a sign of an impending ninja mid-life crisis starting to creep in or something.)

9.18.09 -Work, BBQ

I am so tired today.. after work we have a friend's birthday party in the Ballpark 'hood. With no Rockies game in town tonight, at least I will find easy free parking. But I may crumple up in the corner of their place and fall asleep.
PS - I don't think I have even one pair of jeans that actually fits me well at the moment, everything is either too big or too small. grrr.

Technology intro for my Web Development class today - it was raining when I was on campus, and it felt so very, very "Fall." (I took a chunky brown sweater with me as well)

8.30.09 - June Cleaver's got nuthin' on me!

This was actually how I looked most of the weekend... I was cooking for my Aunt Keri's Kitchen delivery, plus whipping up a bunch of stuff for The Hub to heat up while I am out of town visiting my little nephew (and Sissy and BIL, of course.. and my puffy Westie-nephew too!) next weekend..

It is dark and grainy and I look a bit perterbed because it actually rained and was kinda cold for a lot of this outdoor party.. but we had some shelter, and I did like my pink orchids in my hair...

Yeppers, it is orange dress time again - co-hosting my friend's baby shower - went with tan cardie, woven belt and cagey shoes this time...

Tomorrow is Mother's Day - so Daddy and I are beating the rush and talking Mommy (who I grew up calling "Maude" - we don't really remember why) to lunch today and then we are just going to hang out and spend the afternoon together. YAY MOMMY!!

Birthday BBQ for a friend... it was a little chilly for actually hanging out by the grill, but it was TASTY!

That's right I am yawning - 'cause it was early... on Saturday... seriously...

But I was happy to help my friend with her Comcast Cares day project, stuffing baby bags for Denver Health's "Newborns in Need" program..

4.19.09 - Hometown Birthday Party.. for a 1 year old.

My oldest, dearest girlfriend's daughter celebrated her 1st birthday today, back in my lovely hometown... Maybe I was overdressed, but this dress is so comfy..

AND - I got hit on by a kid who was LITERALLY half my age at the Taco Bell on my way there!! (actually, I got hit on by his friend "'scuze me, my friend wants to know what school you go to, he thinks you're hot"... LMAO!! How great is that?)
