3.15.2011 - Work

Ok - this is REALLY casual... but it is Spring Break on campus, so it is really quiet, and I am taking a few days off after this,so I am feeling pretty mellow...

12.10.2010 -Work, sleepless

There is no two ways about it - I am slobbing it today. Honestly, right as I was nodding off on the sofa and about to get up and go to bed, I saw this story on the news.  It broke my heart - I could not make myself stop thinking about it, no matter what I tried. It was a long night of praying, teary cuddling with the dog, and staring blankly at the the Disney Channel.
 I guess it shows in how I look today. I wish I was home with my family anyway.

Yep...  had "the big" u/s today.   Things look good.  I do indeed know if my little jr snappy dresser will be rocking pink or blue, but I will wait to share until we can tell The Hub's family this weekend.  :)

Not super cute, but I jazzed it up a little with an heirloom necklace and one of my favorite pairs of earrings.

I honestly just put this up so you can see how bad my room is! :( Now I have like a whole extra bed set crammed in there. Impossible to take good pics of my outfit. (eggplant long cardi, skinny jeans, brown boots, crusty look.)

Grrrr....

At least we get the afternoon off today for holiday merriement.

Um, that is actually me - not (as it looks like) Suzanne Sommers' fat, nerdy, can't-QUITE -pull-it-all-together sister from Three's Company.
WTF? I have a Happy Hour tonight that I just DO NOT see myself wearing this for.. What up, dumpy!?

12.15.09 - Work

Does my hair look stupid? My bangs are growing out and sometimes it is annoying to have them flapping against my face and poking me in the eyes.

Also, can I do a product rave that will get me widely laughed at (and possibly ridiculed since so many folks think that shopping there HAS TO BE a belief statement or whatever).

Anyway, these jeans? They are Baby Phat for Walmart.. Serious. And I don't care what ANYONE says about it, these are the most flattering, well-fitting jeans I have possibly ever had on my body. I have NEVER felt better about myself in jeans, and that includes the summer I had the mysterious bacteria and couldn't eat anything and was a size double zero! NEVER. I am going back to horde more. I am in love with them.

Don't judge me - these jeans are freaking awesome.
