2.26.2011 - Baby shower
I had the honor of being showered this weekend by a group of wonderful women - it was a beautiful event, full of lots of laughter and wisdom (and AMAZING food - mmmmm) and all the love for myself and The Hub and our little guy just means so much to me - I am still in awe.

Screw the awful exposure on this pic - check out what is behind me - my kid has a place to stay that is actually all cozy and could be considered ready for him! (But mama still wants to add some touches, so he has been instructed to please stay where he is and keep baking!)

2.13.2011 - Let the baby showers begin!
Here is a pic of my beautiful (tall, fabulous, etc) friend Steph and me at her Shower today - she is due 10 days before me. I have several friends all due right around the same time as me - spring is going to be full of baby goodness, and that means lots of fun showers with fabulous women coming up in the next month or so!

I am rocking one of the dresses my Sissy sent in the giant arsenal of maternity clothes she shipped to me last fall - BLESS HER - and a black cardie.
Got myself a little haircut last Friday as well - it ended up a little shorter than I was thinking, but it has really great shape and I am digging it.

Hmmm, little frump-eh...
I would be bummed that you can never see my shoes - but I am kind of rotating 3 or 4 pretty sensible and boring pairs - so maybe it is for the best. (These are black suade oxfords with a pretty thick inch-and-a-half heal.)
