10.30.09 -Work, pain

Back at work today.. common opinion is that I have torn a muscle in my rotator cuff, or that I have tendonitus in it.. either way, my whole left arm/shoulder/side is on FIRE.
Sucks.

Left shoulder blade and arm still messed up. Can only do my hair this way, can only wear certain shirts I can actually get on. (And you still can't see the cute little tuxedo detailing on this shirt.. dang!)

I predict that this will not be my most put together week.

No pic, it was all I could do just to find a shirt I could get on this morning. I don't even want to talk about my hair. Behold my suffering.

10.21.09 - Work, Baby hogging. :)

Brrr... this morning right as I left the house, the drizzle finally turned to snow. Supposed to go to a lunch event today, but I think I will just hide out in my office and dig out my emergency can of bean with bacon soup. TOO COLD!
But tonight I will be warm - I get to make dinner for my fabulous girlfriend and get my baby cuddle on with her sweet daughter, Harper. Squee!

Our very dear friends celebrated the baptism of their beautiful baby girl Harper today, so off went the whole crew to Morning Mass - me in my conservative church girl gear, complete with double string of vintage pearls that my mommy gifted me yesterday from our outing to the Jr. League Holiday Mart:

Needless-to-say, I look like crap today. No pic = no evidence that I actually walked around looking so bad - which is a good thing.

10.7.09 - Work, Dinner

Get to have dinner at my fabulous gf's house this evening, and cuddle with my honorary "niece" and drink some wine and laugh. All of which is great because, as you see from the bed behind me, there is yet ANOTHER round of work (painting, wallpaper removal, other assorted stuff) being done in the Treehouse.
My grey shirt does INDEED have a big sparkly design on it, and I debated if it was too much for work.. and then decided that I like it and it makes me happy so I don't care.
