Um, ok...  I am messing around with the Kodak EasyTouch trying to learn all the little tricks before Junior comes and I have to assume my role as parent/papparazzi (although we don't call my mom "Papparazzi Peg" for nothing, so I have good back up!)
Clearly this attempt was a massive FAIL.

YIKES!!!  (But do take note - sandal weather has blossomed, and I even managed to paint my toe nails!)

Took a couple days off to run around getting things finished up - also have a Doc's appointment to make sure the little guy is all turned in the right direction and doing swell (ETA - He is!)

Also, Potter got to try out a new Doggie Day Care - and he knew something exciting was going on, so he is waiting impatiently for me to be ready to go:

I had the honor of being showered this weekend by a group of wonderful women - it was a beautiful event, full of lots of laughter and wisdom (and AMAZING food - mmmmm) and all the love for myself and The Hub and our little guy just means so much to me - I am still in awe.

2.13.2011 - Let the baby showers begin!

Here is a pic of my beautiful (tall, fabulous, etc) friend Steph and me at her Shower today - she is due 10 days before me.  I have several friends all due right around the same time as me - spring is going to be full of baby goodness, and  that means lots of fun showers with fabulous women coming up in the next month or so!

I am rocking one of the dresses my Sissy sent in the giant arsenal of maternity clothes she shipped to me last fall - BLESS HER - and a black cardie.

Got myself a little haircut last Friday as well - it ended up a little shorter than I was thinking, but it has really great shape and I am digging it.

Hmmm, little frump-eh...

I would be bummed that you can never see my shoes - but I am kind of rotating 3 or 4 pretty sensible and boring pairs - so maybe it is for the best. (These are black suade oxfords with a pretty thick inch-and-a-half heal.)

Look - we got some stuff out of the bedroom and the crib is set up (although I await the retrofit kit from PB Kids to change it from a drop side to a fixed side.)

1.29.2011 - Errands

Look - New curtains are up on the french doors in the background!  Buying them turned into quite an adventure.  Did you know that a single, lonely little fly getting squashed in just the right place on a sensor in your car engine can make your entire car stop running - resulting in a ride in a AAA tow truck, and a day of being at the mercy of friends and the dealership courtesy shuttle?

Yeah, I didn't know that either.  Now I do.

1.27.2011 - Work, Errands, Cringe

I get to go shopping for new curtains for the French doors to the nursery (or whatever we can currently call that mess) over lunch today!
I admit to a tear or two this morning, when it took an extra amount of shoving and grunting to get my foot into my boot.  :(
The Hub finally inquired as to what was wrong and I said "My bigger foot won't fit into my boot!"  Prompting a HUGE discussion about how everyone has one foot slightly larger than the other, even if they don't (he doesn't) notice it.
I was victorious in the end, but it doesn't bode well for future mornings.   :(

Ahhh, shopping with The Hub.  We went to look for new end tables (because, CLEARLY what we need is more furniture, as you can see from this picture.  /sarcasm.) and he ended up picking out a whole new living room. Throw in a couple of burgers at the Cherry Cricket, and it was a very good day. 

1.20.2011 - Doc's appointment, errands

Had my 1 hour blood glucose test today - it probably means I am a total sugar fiend, but I thought the glucola drink was delicious!
The pile of baby furniture waiting for us to move the bed out so I can get the Cub's room ready is driving me crazy - but that is really a rant for another place. (I am just sorry that I have to see it in these pics every day. grrrr.)

11.18.2011 - Work, the Nursery "situation"

Um, yeah...  we have a little space situation in the Nursery.  The room is having a bit of an identity crisis after unforeseen circumstances forced a delay in the removal of the bed, so please excuse the fact that I am standing in a pile of my unborn child's dismantled furniture.
